inktype.cc is a browser-based tool that turns handwriting into fonts. Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what data is processed and by whom.

Processing happens in your browser

All image processing, glyph extraction, and font generation happen entirely on your device. Your scans, handwriting images, and exported fonts are never uploaded to any server. We have no backend and no database.

What we do not collect

• No accounts, emails, or personal information
• No handwriting images or generated fonts
• No cookies or fingerprinting

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how many people visit the site. Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookieless and does not track individual users across sites. It collects aggregate page-view data (page URL, referrer, browser type, country). No personal identifiers are stored. Cloudflare acts as a data processor under their privacy policy.

Google Fonts

Typefaces (Instrument Serif, Space Grotesk, JetBrains Mono, Caveat) are self-hosted and served directly from this site. No request is made to Google Fonts or any third-party font CDN.

Local storage

We store one small item in your browser's localStorage: the language and dimensions of the last template you printed. This is purely functional and contains no personal data. You can clear it at any time via your browser settings.

No other third-party services, tracking pixels, or advertising networks are used.
